Red iron packages in commercial steel buildings are engineered to meet all local and state code requirements. The example here shows a typical Austin Building Systems, Inc. rigid frame with roof purlins and rafter connections. Flange bracing is included to strengthen the steel building for higher wind bracing or eliminate shifting if an alternate wall material is applied to the outside of the metal building.
